Data Deletion
You can delete your Rspond data at any time. This page explains what gets deleted and how to request it, including data received through connected channels such as WhatsApp and Instagram.
1. Delete a connected channel's data
To remove the data associated with a specific channel (for example, a WhatsApp or Instagram account you connected): sign in to Rspond, open Channels, and disconnect that channel. Disconnecting stops Rspond from receiving further messages for it.
To also erase the conversations and contacts already collected for that channel, send a deletion request as described in section 3.
2. Delete your whole account & workspace
To delete your entire account and workspace — including team members, conversations, contacts, chatbot flows, knowledge-base documents, product catalog, and stored channel credentials — send a deletion request as described below.
3. How to request deletion
Email support@rspond.id from the email address associated with your account, with the subject "Data deletion request". Tell us whether you want to delete a specific channel's data or your entire account, and include your workspace name.
We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before proceeding.
4. What happens and when
Once verified, we permanently delete the requested data from our production systems, typically within 30 days. Encrypted channel credentials are destroyed so no further messages can be sent or received on your behalf.
Some records may be retained for a limited time only where required by law (for example, billing/tax records) or in backups that are rotated out on a regular schedule.
Note: deleting your data in Rspond does not delete anything held by the underlying platforms (e.g., your own WhatsApp Business Account or Instagram inbox); manage those directly with Meta.
